About The Event

Wesley’s Place is excited to offer two outstanding acts in one memorable evening.

Jim Gary has been delighting audiences from the Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk stage to Nashville’s Bluebird Café with his warm stage presence, charming wit, and deeply crafted songwriting. With seven albums and more than 75 original songs to his credit, Jim’s music reflects decades of dedication to lyrical storytelling. Influenced by the great sounds of the 1960s and honed at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music, Jim brings a rich, expressive voice and songs that move easily between folk ballads, country storytelling, light jazz touches, and heartfelt acoustic reflection. His performances are intimate, thoughtful, and rooted in a lifelong commitment to songcraft.

Sharing the evening are The Milkman’s Kids, a trio of accomplished musicians who met at local jam sessions and discovered a natural musical chemistry. Known for their laid-back and welcoming vibe, they describe…
